Verbing Words Fragment

I'd really like to see "science" become a proper verb.

It just seems right. Currently we have to say things such as "I was in the lab all day" or "I researched it quite thoroughly" when we could instead be saying "I was Sciencing all day" or "I Scienced the crap out of it!".

Dearest Nerdy Hordes, let us make it so.

I quite agree. With respect to several friends of mine who work in University administration, we regularly exchange emails where I write "How is Admitting?" or "How is Accommodating?" or "How is Managing?" and they reply with "Fine thanks, how is Researching?" but I would like "how is Sciencing?" to become de rigueur.

Have you been sciencing hard this week, Toaster? X

You realize if this happened, Hermitage would find 10000x reasons to say that she was 'scienceing all night'? I'm going to spend all weekend imagining inappropriate uses of the verb 'science' now.

Hermitage, you have inspired me!

"Toaster, I want you to science me as hard as you possibly can!"

Well, Hermitage, I suppose that is another legitimate use of microfuge tube blocks and T150 cell culture flasks.

I like making people blush, it's fun and I'm seemingly good at it.
