What kind of Mad Scientist are you? You've got this cool culture and you haven't even stuck 'em under a microscope yet? Nor taught them to attack your enemies?
I can't identify those from here cuz I usually sniff plates to ID things. e.g. Escherichia spp. on MacConkey agar smell like raspberry yoghurt whereas other bugs smell like toast... Think I'm nuts? Sniff them! Smells are diagnostic!

I do not doubt that smells are diagnostic. In addition to being hemolytic, Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron also smells like distilled body odor. The plate in question smelled like potato water.
Potatoey smells to me always make me think of Gram positives - probably Staphylococcus epidermis perhaps?
No fungus - always a good thing!

If you are needing pipetting for making up reagents, then disposable plastic graduated pipettes that can use a vacuum assisted drawing bulb or plunger would be ideal.
